Displaying Copyright/Owner Name in Canon Camera’s EXIF
Displaying Owner Name in Canon A70 EXIF Data: For most Canon camera owners, you'll notice that ‘Owner name' is not automatically populated in EXIF. There is a trick to make it populate if your camera uses remote capture. This works for the Canon A70 and Canon EOS Rebel 300d.

Set up your camera for remote capture using Canon's Utility ‘Remote Capture'.
Once open, connect to your camera.
In the ‘Shooting' Dialog box that opens, click on Camera and then Camera Settings.
In the Owner's Name field type your name.
I use my full name, Copyright sign and website address.
Take a picture Remotely and delete it if you like.
From here on out, all pictures taken either with or without Remote Capture will show your name, copyright and email address in EXIF!
